Ghostface And Others To Raid Brooklyn

Postby Global » Apr 25th, '07, 00:12

Ghostface Killah will headline The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival. There, he will join other stars such as Big Daddy Kane, Lupe Fiasco, Consequence, Skillz, Tanya Morgan and Rhymefest. The festival is set to take place in June.
Wes Jackson, a festival chair, noted their excitement for Ghostface's appearance.
"Ghost is simply in his own category. His track record of hits is over 10 years long...He has rocked with everyone from Beyonce to MF Doom. Who else can say that? His versatility and borderless creativity is exactly what the BHF is all about. As we move park- wide we couldn't ask for a better MC at the top of the bill," he recently said.
Wait, there will be more...
"In the next few weeks, we will be announcing some legendary names from the past as well as some outstanding new artists. Last year we introduced Lupe Fiasco to Brooklyn and brought Big Daddy Kane home. Look for more of the same this year." said Alma Geddy-Romero, the festival director.
This year, the fest is so huge, it will need 5 days. June 7, 14, 21, 22 and 23.
Ghost will be at other festivals as well. The most notable would definitely be Rock The Bells. There, Ghost will join his Wu Tang brethren, as well as Rage Against the Machine, Public Enemy, The Roots, Nas and many more.
