first off, in my opinion, the south killed it. then everybody started copyin them cuz their shit sold. so now just about everybody's doin it. alotta people consider that "good rap". they dont think in terms of skills. if girls can shake their asses to it and guys can bob their heads to it, from their point of view, its good rap.

Ok My Views Right Now...

Who's Runnin Hip Hop???
-The South

I Hate it too, but it's true. They are runnin shit.

Whos In 2nd Place???
- North

Yep, all the NY rappers are in 2nd place.

Idk about midwest rap right now, hopefully Bone and Twista can bring it back like only they can.

and west, well..west has been on the verge of dyin since 1996. Hopefully Cube and Dre and maybe even Game can do a thing or 2, i just want the south to die out.

I think people should preserve the honor for the oldschool in hip hop, that honor that was lost along the way sometime in 2001. Theres enough Hip hop to last anybody their life, if they search for it, most dont, and complain about not having good shit in the mainstream, when its them that dont generate interest.

eh... anyways, hip hop is always gonna be underground music, the commercial rappers are just a money grabbing scheme masquerade.

yeh agreed i used to be like that, thinking mainstream was the only shit but i learned n my whole view on rap changed completely when i started listening to true music and goin back like 20 years n listening to the way it was and stuff

thats what i love about it coz tracks arent pointless singing you can go back and actually follow the whole history of hip hop through the songs
