Speakin of poetry...

its interesting that Tash brought up that thing about rap bein poetry or not. it just so happens a couple days ago i wrote one.

the 25th was my girlfriend and i's monthly anniversary (we celebrate the months). she asked me to write her a poem, so i did. its called Girl Of My Dreams. its cliche but it suits perfectly. please leave feed.


I dream of the silhouette
Of a girl with an angelic aura
Heating my body with radiant heat
Watching as she stepped towards me
With the grace of ripples in still water

Finally in my view I see a figure
More beautiful than any angel
Her lips parted as she spoke of my name
I felt my heart turn to liquid
As she spoke with heart warming harmonics

She embraced my body with silk arms
She looked up, kissed me every so lightly
With lips softer than the softest pillow
As we walked together I pondered

i orginally was writing 4 lines per stanza... but as i wrote it i needed to say more and the easiest way to do it was 5 lines.

EDIT: sorry Tash, but you made that topic on the 25th, i wrote the poem the 24th to give to my girlfriend on the 25th, your too late.
