50 Cent

Postby James R. » May 3rd, '07, 00:13

Ok so I know this could be in one of many other sections but I think this needs to be here. I go hard on 50 Cent. I rip him down at any chance I get. I honestly think that if it came down to it I'd fuck 50 up in a lyrical contest, but then again I think my sister could beat 50's ass lyrically. But this is a thread meant to call the old 50 back. Curtis, 50, w.e the fuck you wanna be called, take it back to Power of the Dollar. That was one of the best CD's I've heard period. Stop all the singing, get back into your poor mentality and tell us how you made strides to eat then throw in a song for the women and maybe a funny track or two. Just give me a REASON to like you cuz deep down inside I actually want to.

agreed^ your a brilliant poster, each of ya posts are worth there weight in gold.Everything you stated concerning 50 cent is true. His gotta get back to his roots and quit with tryna make music for the commercial audience.

He mentioned in a interview his using some old lyrics from before get rich ,but after hearing that carnival/amusment park or wutever song i highly doubt curtis is gonna be very good.

Only decent track his drop of late is the remix to straight to the bank feat hot rod and that was 60% because of the beat.

I hope to God 50 doesnt bring up any lyrics from Power of the Dollar. That CD was borderline classic in my eyes and putting with his commercial shit now wouldn't improve the commercial shit it would just nullify the originality and skill of his old lyrics. I wish he'd just retire. He's 2 for 3 on his albums and while that's not a good percentage it's better than it will be after Curtis unless he REALLY surprises me.

Honestly now I don't think going back to what made him would make a difference because we all know what he's about. A child molester can't go back to the days before he touched little kids and have a clean record. 50 ruined himself thinking he was bigger than he was and becoming exactly what he bashed Ja Rule for being. At least Ja wasn't a hypocrite.

yeh when i lsitened to his lyrics on that trac, i forge tthe game right now but were he took the piss out Jay-z n nas on the chorus, anywae, he was tryna act street but you just know the lyrics are just him pretending..hes fucked himself over with true hip hop fans, all he cna hope for is to make pop songs with rap in them and hope pop fans by it so he can pretend it was rap fans who bought it then retire saying he sold 50 million records

only thing 50 cent did was ruin eminem

You can't blame 50 for what eminem has/is doing wrong, Eminem is his own man and you don't see 50 writing his shit. And Eminem was sick on Patiently Waiting. I only listened to Gatman and Robin like once so I can't really talk about that.

you know how eminem says jay-z, biggie, 2pac all influenced him to rap, well 50 probably influenced eminem after he signed him and influenced him in a bad way.

I can't agree with that. Even if Eminem was influenced by 50 Cent he was still the one writing all of his tracks and someone had to approve the album and he's the one who's using songs that he finds to be acceptable for his albums and verses he finds acceptable for appearances.

how can you drop the blame of eminems failures at the feet of 50 cent :confusion: ? thats the stupidest comment ive ever read.
Eminem's music is failing atm because his dried out of decent concepts. It may also be other stuff like personal drive and heart for rap but i couldnt possibly judge that, noone can.

2002-2003 50cent was best,he better go back to hes old days b4 i clap him,but its understandable, hes in a new financial space,he needed candy shop to promote olivia, needed a single like that to get the ladys attention, just a lil bit etc, might be bitch songs to us,but it makes great buisness sence, thats why 50cent has 100+mill and all hes haters are broke as fuck
