Hmmm well to be hoenst i didnt like iTunes much and stuck with WMP the only thing i can suggest is to check the artist name in your library?

try readding all your songs to your library in your itunes and in your ipod

Sometimes when songs are tagged with some other programm like WMP, u cant see in the original file names that its actually tagged, and itunes detects it. Hard to explain, it can just be tagged in different format, u can righclick and use the option convert the song tag to the one accepted and more usefull with itunes.

I been using ipod/itunes for 2 years now, what i do to make sure i have my libriaries intact, i check the album i added to itunes right away, re-tag it, then i throw it on my ipod.


But im not quite sure if im getting what ur saying right. Are you using the auto-sync libraries option?

check to see if all your names and album names etc are all spelt the same and all in the same case i had this problem and it was because i had a capitol letter on one name but not on the other for example one sed devils night and the other was Devil's Night that will organise it properly for ya hope it helped
