If KRS is gonna preach hip hop in this era, he could could at least have the decency to catch up with Rakim, when Ra introduced multi-s and verbal magic into hip hop. KRS just talks.

I respect KRS coz he's a legend of his time, but this year he suddenly starts to preach again after Nas brought up the topic of hip hop degenerating back.

Marley marl on the other hand, i respect infinately as a producer may his legacy live for centuries to come.

i got mixed thoughts on this

firstly, i love the track Krs is dope on it, and marley's production is awesome, video is great aswell, i love the part were he breaks down hip and hop, and if anyone got a MP3 of this id appreciate it :D

but also i agree with asp that he just happens to come out with this after nas says its dead, but i wouldnt say he's alone on this alot of people now are trying to bring it back to original and you can sense it working and that "gangsta" rap is dying along with the club banger and dirty south track..well i feel as if it is anywae , so really even if they are just feeding of nas saying its dead, witch is sorta crindge worthy them doin that but then again its producing great music and i aint gonni complain about more great tracks getting made :sweating:
