Hes a monopolists, i have no problem with gates making life easier, im more than willing to pay for something usefull, but gates FORCES people to buy products since he controlls a certain market. The ability to set the price on a product that doesn't obide to any certain law is pure blackmail, if he's earning billions by working no more hours a day than any other person than he's obviously overpricing his product.

Monopolists are thieves, thieves even in a capitalist system.

If there were competitors, computers would be

1) cheaper
2) os would be better

Mac- is fair alternative, but it isnt widely supported, because of windows.
Linux- a new alternative, but once again it aint supported and is pushed on by the business, since once again windows dictates the standarts.


and as for the tech, obviously its not as expensive as its made to be if someone in the company earns enough money to feed a whole country.

i run linux and it is fully compadible with every thing you can do in windows (wine) an also can do much much much more than windows. It gives you straight hardware access.
