Story: In short, Crysis is set in the year 2020. You're part of the US Delta Force, an elite special forces group. You've been sent to an island somewhere in the pacific (Spratly Islands) to investigate an unusual asteroid crash site. You have a problem though, the koreans have made it to the island first and have already setup camps. You need to fight the koreans to get closer to this mysterious crash site to investigate. Out of no where, the asteroid exposes itself as an alien ship and sends up a huge frozen sphere around part of the island freezing everything inside of it, It's at this time that you and the koreans unite to battle the new alien threats. As the story progresses, you'll have to take on alien exosuits (alien vehicles) and trample through a rugged frozen hell hole before reaching the 2km high alien ship. You eventually enter the alien ship where you battle the actual aliens for the first time in a full anit-gravity environment with 360 vertical degrees of movement. Plenty of mysteries will arise and unravel as you progress while many exciting events will take place around you.
Gameplay: You'll be exposed to 3 very different environments. These include the lush tropical jungle, the frozen environment within the alien sphere, and inside the alien ship itself. You will also spend a bit of time on the aircraft carrier which will be position of the coast. You'll have to adapt to every environment as well as every battle seen. This will be very tactical thanks to the many additions to Crysis unseen in any earlier first person shooter. These include fully customizable weapons, a customizable suit and a fully dynamic, interactive and destructible world.
