Are you serious? At this moment in time, it's beyond amazing. It was fresh smashin rules and breaking new ground. Who's doing that now, 90% of hip-hop now consists of shitty club bangers, the other ten percent isn't getting heard too loudly, unfortunately.

I know what you're saying though, rhyme styles aree more complex now, and S.O.C wasn't on a very high level in that way. Actualy Ice Cube was a pretty tight lyricist even back then, and waas droppin soem dope multies.

It's mainly on the list though because it's a landmark rap album, and an instant classic, plus I like it a lot. :D

Yeah, would be awesome man, wouldn't be the same without Easy though. I'd love to see Ren, Yella, Cube and Dre do an album or mixtape though, even a few collabs would be great even just for nostalgia's sake. I used to love Mc Ren man, he has the coolest fuckin voice. Actually Royce reminds me a bit of Ren, similar sounding or style-wise, i'm not sure. They have that perfect rap voice.

I ain't gonna name too much, I'm too lazy :p

Nas - Illmatic, nastradamus, stillmatic
NWA - straight outta compton
Jay-z - the blueprint
Eric. B & Rakim - paid in full
Jurassic 5 - quality control
Dilated peoples - neighborhood watch
Scarface - The fix
Obie Trice - Second rounds on me

so, now I gotta admit I ain't heard lots of classics yet, like Big's, Jay-z's debuts, that eric b. & rakim albums is the only one I got of them, also Scarface's... so I got a lotta music to discover :)
