So Much Pain

Postby DrRapid » Jun 25th, '07, 22:02

The song So Much Pain was sang by 2Pac and Ja Rule. It was released under the album Pain Is Love in 2001 by Ja Rule but it appeared in the beginning credits of the film Above The Rim which was released in 1994.
My question here is, were Pac and Ja in the song together at that time? And if they were, why didn't they release the song then instead of releasing it in 2001? Maybe Ja Rule added his verse because he's a 2Pac groupie because in the film Above The Rim Ja's verse doesn't appear after Pac's verse which is when the film beggins.
So that's really what I wanted to know because I really like the song So Much Pain.

The original song from "Above The Rim" is called "Pain". It was on the CD single "Regulate" by Warren G and NAte Dogg, it also included the track "Loyal To The Game". That's not info from Wikipedia, that's from my head. I have the CD here somwhere and it's one of my favourite singles. Ja is not on the original.

Of course he could, but it was just a b-side to the Regulate single.

And Pac was just coming up, Warren G and Nate Dogg with "Reguate" was fuckin huge, everybody loved that track. But when I bought that single, I knew Pac, was one of the best rappers i'd ever heard. Didn't think he'd be as legendary as he now is though.
