WAGA reported that investigators believe Benoit killed his wife and son over the weekend, and then himself sometime Monday.

A concerned neighbor called police. The bodies were found in three different rooms.

Thats seriously fucked up that there doing a 3 hour "tribute" to someone who its belived took his familys life.

at the time they didn't know the cause of death. They only fond out either when it was over or already on the air. They had wrestlers holding back tears talking about Chris too, saying how great of a family man he was...than they have to find out he killed his wife, kid, and himself..I'm sure everyone was shocked. (assuming that he really did kill them, that is really fucked up)
I used to be really into wrestling and this guy was good than, not sure about recently cause I really lost interest in it, either way, this is still sad news so R.I.P. to all 3 of them

You've got to be half crazy to be a wrestler in the first place.

I compare it to football. Except in football you only go full contact once a week and you have an offseason. You don't get that in wrestling. These guys have to do house shows where they wrestle 3-4 times a week. And the non TV matches are long as hell because you don't get commercials and backstage stuff. It's got to be brutal.

Vince McMahon is to blame for so much of it. The whole steroids thing was entirely his invention. He didn't want anyone wrestling for him that wasn't huge. He caused all of that. When Ventura and Hogan were a hit (with their roided up bodies) then Vince decided that's the way everyone had to be. If it wasn't for WCW, which embraced smaller wrestlers, chances are Vince would have killed many more wrestlers in the process.

It's more than steroids with Vince McMahon, too. Everything backstage is incredibly political. The only way to get ahead is to be a slave and kiss a TON of *** . The reason why Triple H got so big in the WWF is because he didn't confess that he knew about the Bret Hart "screwjob" at Survivor Series. Of course Triple H knew. He was going to be the muscle if Bret got out of hand. That's why he was always around the situation when it went down. Vince rewarded him. And don't get me wrong, Bret should have lost the match. What Vince did was right in that match. Bret is a whiner. You don't get to win your last match when you'll be walking out on the competition's show the next night.

Hell, people who rubbed Triple H the wrong way in the WWF have been fired by Vince.

And now it's just the WWF versus no one. Everyone has to be scared of losing their job. Vince doesn't have to keep anyone around now. There's no competition. Regardless of talent or draw, he can fire anyone at no cost. Some people will always watch.

I'm not say Benoit's family was killed by Vince...what I am saying is that he was in WCW/ECW for a long time and he never killed anyone.

I read somewhere that this Chris was violent person and he's wife wanted to divorce in 2003, but she changed her mind. Big mistake.

i read this in the paper and was really shocked, when i used to watch wrestling (when i had the channel) he was one of my fav, and to find out he did this to his wife and kid

in the paper it said he was on steroids and there were injection needles found in his son's arm, supposedly chris benoit was giving his son steroids aswell because he was to "puny" to be his son

its really fucked though, w/e really happened, r.i.p to his son and wife, but if he murdered them and killed himself then he should rot in hell
