I am patrolling down the red-zone ground,
Eyes and ears sharp and open,
I am looking around/
In a distance, I hear a child-cry,
Something seems wrong today , as I walk-by/

I-E-D contact!
Were the last clear words I heard,
Big explosion then I was down/

Blood pumping out of my body,
I can hear nobody/
My veins going senseless,
Dearest the moment, I am passing through,
Emotions almost dead, I am now speechless/
My nerves paralyzed, I am motionless/
The moment I am going thru
