Mozilla Firefox Downloading

When I download a song or another thing I don't know where it goes because it says it goes to the desktop but it doesn't and when I search for the thing in My PC it doesn't find it. In iTunes i can play the downloaded song but I don't know where to look for it. Can anybody help?

go to your tools--> options and then where it says "save files to" that's the folder

4 mp3s its probs downloading automatically without asking you weather you want to save it or just open.....if it is asking you make sure u choose the option save to disk if it isnt asking you go

tools>>>options>>>content>>>>and manage at the bottom and find mp3
