this may have been done many times b4 on here, but this is something i found that actually proves all u dumb fucks wrong. just watch this. i haven't watched all of it, just the first one so far but i know where its leading to. some ppl are just stupid and base they're conclusions on what a few scientists say, but u need to be careful because u dont know the intentions of that so-called scientist and whose paying him/her to say the things they say. just watch it...its about 10 minutes long per part

a dumb ass that made that global warming documentary An Inconvenient Truth, that i think came out last year. it was full of a bunch of lies, such as the ocean would rise so much from the melting glaciers that a lot of land would be lost but in reality the oceans would only rise a couple feet at most

he also was a hypocrite saying that ppl should use less energy, but he was using a shit load of energy to run his mansion and flying all over the world for no reason imo. but that doesn't matter cuz we're not causing global warming, or we at least can't prove that we are

Well I agree about the ocean only rising a few feet. But I believe we are causing global warming. We put pollution into the air which ruins the ozone and therefore more sun radiation and heat gets through causing disturbance to the environment. We can stop it though, if we could find ways to put the least amount of pollution in the air as possible the ozone can repair itself.

 There was also somethin to do with green house gases :-k

well if you get a chance to watch the video, you'll see that the atmosphere has only a small, SMALL, percentage of green house gases in it. and the "green house gas" that is claimed to be ruining the atmostphere is produced by more than just people. and the other things that produce it besides us produce more than we do.

everyone knows global warming is all bullshit, its the earths natural cycle, last time it was this hot, global temperature was in the mid the late 1850 - 1890, Go find Time magazines archives, they been recording this shit since the late 18**, every 20 - 30 years we go through global cooling, then warming, cooling then warming,we been here before and the only reason governments are taking it so serious,is to make sure they dont get blamed from the side effects of natural global warming.

1860? and 2007 = Same Global Average Temp

Its All Factual and not theory based. if we are causing shit by emisions etc, what made 1860s temps so high?

So it's not gonna keep getting hotter each summer and cooler each winter? Chea :smoking: lol

@ Hadez: like cow farts? rofl

the temperature increase and decrease during summer and winter has to do with the Earth's position during those seasons. "global warming" has nothing to do with it.

@ the global warming deniers.

Temperature is not the only decisive factor here, theres a cycle that you imbalance, when you emit carbon monoxide. You basically speed up climate change, making it adjust to the extra solar radiation that is kept inside the atmosphere by greenhouse gases. Green house gases DO exist and they DO have an effect and thats why their emissions are regulated by any civilized country.

When you take the peak temperatures to prove that "it happens all the time" you do not account the steep fast temperature increase. The peak temperatures from 1800's are inappropriate to use when counting norms. IF you can reach all time peaks (even according to old data) every year and the climate is just further more imbalanced, that already means you have a warming effect. Ironically, the 1800's are dawn of industry and from there on the peak temp. and the mean temp. just got higher and simple tests will prove without a doubt that greenhouse gasses are only present in higher amounts since then.

Heres a few simple illustrations from the NASA site. Theres a lot of illustrations on the temparature change on that sites, and i believe they themselves are very suggestive.

Here is just one example:

Annual Mean Temperature Change for Hemispheres

Fig A3 Annual and five-year running mean temperature changes for the northern (red) and southern (blue) hemispheres.
Image

NOW, you tell me. WHY is the temperature mean going only up with the development of industry? And why is it so peculiar that the 1940's reflect a quick steep rise, during a time of rapid industry boost by a war of global proportions?

Now this graph only reflex changes in a 2 to -2 degree spectrum, but if you're not a complete dumbass and you listened to at least 1 hour out of your geography class semester you'd know that it takes a only a 1 degree difference to melt ice. It will take more time for ice to freeze with the mean average temp increasing, eventually it'll just not be able to freeze and maintain in the same capacity. Ice in the polar caps controls water current currents with fresh water being constantly circulated under the water, this flow if disrupted causes climate change, because climate is dictated by ocean currents, steep climate change effects the frequency of natural disasters. This does not nessesserally effect everybody and or now, but it does effect us, the extreme peaks will only rise exponentially from here on, since population growth is inevitable.

Stop reading Times magazines and shit like that for info that clearly has an anti-oil/car/industry bias. They will prolong this till half of the north pole. Take also to account that we actually expand industry the way it is to the point where everyone on this planet will have the leading country standards of consumption we will produce so much greenhouse gases that it would just be impossible to live. The reason countries like America are not willing to compromise their emissions is shear stubbornness, to much money loss, another words its also the effect of greed.

You all can keep telling yourself it ain't happening and rely on southpark episodes and republicans to provide you with "proof", but there are some changes that are irrefutable and people rather just not mention them and disprove something else.

What nonsense. How can u compare this generation to any other era, since we didn't leave our era mark yet. The sun spot comparison is bizarre and is just a guess exagerated on video.

In that part of the video they are using data from 400 years ago to determine results... yah.. very reliable.

Green house gases do still exist, were proven to have effect not only areally but globally and are now being controlled on emission standarts and not for no reason.

so all the ppl from hundreds of years ago are stupid? they may not have had the same equipment, but they still had some way of collecting the data...and we can even learn about temperature changes from hundreds of years ago through ice samples, which is what they showed in that clip. nobody said the gases don't exist, its just that we aren't the major contributors to it and they may not be the reason for the temperature changes. the earth is gonna be nonexistent some day, why couldn't it be now? why can't the earth be starting to go through a process that will kill us all? and now ur for the government controlling what we do and u believe what they say? its just another bs way for the government to scare everybody. quit buying into an industry that supports nonsense and dumbasses

i pity the foo that "doesnt believe" in global warming :n:
of course the earth goes trough changes and one of them being climate-changes
in about 40.000 years i believe we gonna have another ice-age
thats just the way the world works, it follows its own rules .. its gonna explode sooner or later
but we as the human race are really messing with this with the amount of gasses we put out
it is getting hotter and icebergs are melting
i for one live in The Netherlands and i wouldnt like to see ma country "drown" in the next 40 years
cause that is gonna happen if its gonna continue at this rate
i dont think people understand the seriousnes of this
we should focus on is that it is really happening .. we are fucking up this planet
and we should do sumthing about it
thats just my opinion
