Buying a ps3 on the 5th

Well i took a bank loan (my uncle co signed) and il have the check for $823 on the 5th of july..

What really sold playstaytion3 to me is the listings of games to come.. plus the extreme high def movies... i mean, a high def dvd is like 250 (for a decent one)..

prolly buying one today man, only not sure what game i should add.. i think Resistance: Fall of man.. For me its cus BluRay is the future, and i wanna play GTAIV and Assasins Creed on my fav console

listen sony r arrongant punks who think just by stuffin the latest hardware into one box that they can get the most sales and win the console wars. Well their plan failed and nintendo and microsoft kicked their ass. The ps3 is way above its time. Its pointless spendin $600 on somethin that u wud by for $300 in just about 5 years time. Now im just wonderin how ps4 wud be like and how much it wud cost since ps3 is already 5 years into the future. And besides, people buy game consoles to play games. The hardware and other stuff r nice too, but u really dont nee them. Its all already in ur computer or laptop so it really isnt very necessary. Just be simple and stick with Wii

the only thing high tech about grand theft auto are its graphics. Those can easily be shifted to fit the
Wii's 480p out put if the developers really wanted to. Secondly dont let the ps3's technology decieve u, wat real hardcore gamers look at is the games presentation and gameplay. The bluray shit, and all that other crap is just a scam to attract more customers and to make the ps3 look more attractive, but once u hav it ur like, wat the fuck do i do with this thing. Do i REALLY need it? Of course u may need it, but it really is irrelevant to the games. Man its all about the games and how u play them. Playin ps3 is the same as playin ps2 apart from the big difference in graphics, but besides that nuthin at all has changed. Now thats a major bummer. Nintendo has something very knew and original to offer and for a cheap price and u talk about the console as if it is nuthin and unadvanced. Lemme tell u sumthin mate, the Wii's technology is inline with time, that is y it retails for $250, the adverage price for a brand new console, its the ps3 thats gettin ahead of its self and time, that is y it got all that fancy unneccesary stuff rammed in it, and a $600 price tag. Man do the math and be smart, and dont let sony fool u. If u wanna get GTA4 that badly, go play it at a friends or buy a 360 and sav ur paper, NOT a ps3.

i think ppl worship GTA too much, they wanna get da PS3 specially 4 GTA in which u said it has gud graphics but it has neva had gud graphics. most of da magazines rate GTA graphics wiv a 3 and otha games like FPS wiv a 4 or a 5

Like i said before in this gen of gaming its all about realism.To create realism in games you need sick graphics,realistic controls and gameplay like every game.This is why xbox360 and ps3 are the ONLY real contenders for this next gen console war.

Every new technology is expensive at first so dont act like its a new thing.The only resons wii and xbox wasnt that expensive is because they didnt include AS MUCH new technology as the ps3.Now the xbox is correcting its way and is producing add on's but this will obviously come at a cost $$$$.
