id say gta vice city...although i liked sanandreas WAY more there wasnt really a huge improvment in it compared to the last 2 (graphics,etc.)

all games that deserve places in gaming history

Donkey kong basically created the rendered graphics, and influences loads of games after they were created

mario series influenced every platform game and also Super Mario 64 basicaly invented the 3D platform witch every game now uses (also the camera movement)

Sonic - just legendary games, everyone has played sonic

pac man and asteroids - 2 of the games that started it all for millions of gamers

Zelda - great series although has some bad games like windwaker and one of 2 of the GBA titles, but the real life graphics console games are all great, OoT have came the top of G.O.A.T lists over and over again in lots of gaming magzines shows and websites, majoras mask was a great game aswell and the twighlight princess is awesome aswell

Final Fantas series - made RPG one of the biggest gaming genre's ever, before final fantasy and more specificially before Final Fantasy 7 RPG wasnt a big gaming genre, now its considered the biggest by alot of gamers

wow at metal gear not being mentioned. that brought a whole new element to action games. the plots are arguably.....fuck they ARE the best written plots on any games so far and play like interactive movies (although they went a lil ott on mgs2.The games are just dope.

i always thought of MGS as a just above average game, the game play isnt nothing great, the stories are good though but not my type of thing lol

yeh the whole stealth thing ive never enjoyed though and the MGS that was released on PSP when it came out was bad, a card based system, so it through me of checking out the newer ones released

id probly check out MGS for PS3 when i get one though
