^me too, my parents have never grounded me. they usually just get mad and the next day i can do whatever i want.

Very similar to that, but I used to get grounded on occasion too, but my dad used to feel sorry for me staring out the window with a gloomy face on, so I'd get let out eventually. But, he was partial to givin a few slaps, not in a bad violent dad way, in a good parent type of way. Never done me any harm.

The only time i got grounded was 8-11 years old, when i was in an english boarding school ruled by nazi christians. Every time time i said "fuck" or flipped a finger to someone, or do so little as to be 2 minutes late somewhere i was grounded and had to write lines ("i will not not do this and that.. yada yada... X 100 times) or copy/write a few pages from the bible . 11-14 it was just occasional asswoopings when i lived at home (which is way better since its a quick punishment)... then i escaped the menace of having my parents boss me around at 16... and then it was college freedom

grounding a kid is stupid....u can have more fun staying in sometimes with tv, computers, video games and everything else. its funny when a kid gets grounded for the same thing like 5 times....obviously grounding them does nothing

i got good news i made a little white lie and my mom might forget about the grounding.Plus im onlie 13 and the mall was like pretty far away.. But i think she feels sorrie for me cus ive been stuck in the house "wid a gloomy face". I think she'll forget about it.plus she just pre ordered me the hp book so i guess shez gonna forgive me..i think grounding me the whole summer was her blood pressure talkin anywaiz ima waid a few daiz widout going outside and play it cool.

You're mother has a point, don't be fuckin goin to the mall when you're thirteen, too many paedophiles and psycho's around. Do what you're mother tells ya!! You have good parents, i'd do the same, grounded for the Summer would be small in comparison to what i'd do.

when i get in trouble, i usually get a nice yelling/lecture/possible grounding, but its all forgotten about in 2-3 days
