that's a great track. i was blessed with ability to understand more than a half of lyrics :y: anyway the whole album sounds good, but i got a bit tired after a while, obviously i'm not a fan this kind of beats, please master Killa, don't kill rofl umm.. i loved 'Comedy Tragedy History' [was hard to understand it tho].

see, that's the main problem, i wish i could say more about it, but he's just too fast for me to understand, so i usually fail to get what it's about. plus british accent makes it even more harder, i feel like it's totally different than american one, which i'm used to.. :'(

^ glad you mentioned "It's not a rumour", i think i liked it more too. maybe because i've been listening to it once in a while and got used to it and, what's most important i guess, understood more rofl :8) "Shakespeare" and "Bullshit" are killin it :y:

The album is crazy, You Put a Spell On Me is my favourite at the moment, check quote in my signature. Only heard a few so far (Comedy Tragedy is nuts), this could be best Hip Hop album of the year, UK at least definetly.

Have London Town and so far, this pisses all over it.

You reckon comedy tragedy track is the final version?
I've played it to friends (who aren't really into UK hip hop anyway) but the vocals don't seem clear enough over the 'messy' beat. I love the track though, the flow and lyrics are amazing ...

Like how this kid also has an education and is positive, unlike Kano who could do better in his position considering 17 teens have been killed this year through gang violence. The little speech at the end of Where I'm From need to be heard by these kids who seem brainwashed by this thug culture and don't think about consequences or thier future.

Damn right, now I've played it a few times, I have no problem with clarity.
The rest of the album appeals to an almost indie crowd, definetly a larger appeal
and the potentially best track on the album has a messy grime type beat that turns people off.

But Killa, that line ' with the daggers and hammers when I rap I attack 'em in a military fashion'
or however it goes just blew me away with how it continues.

really, im 4 tracks in and feel like turning it off

i seioursly thought he used the same beat for the first 3 tracks there just for to similiar

him like actually rapping is sick, and his flow is sick but the beats are ruining it, but imma listen to it through till the end and make a final judgement :sweating:

concepts aint much either so far :n:

IMO

this album is a step down fomr his last, witch i loved every track on.

Freedom Lasso
Love In My eyes
Comedy Tradegy History
You Put a Spell On Me

are all below avergae tracks IMO

Where Im From is By For the best song on the album, electro living is also really good

defeated
Something Inside Me
i dont know

are let down by the beats imo but could have been great

bit by bit was just bad imo

overall he used far too many similiar beats, i know he has a specific beat style but he coul have at least switched it up a little bit

ill probly listen to were im from a couple of time, electro living ive listened to since it got leaked a while ago, the rest i probly wont listen to again

a let down since i had big hopes for his album, also the small tracklist sorta annoyed me

anywae, i aint likin this album as a whole

EDIT----

oh yeh, his actualy lyrics and flow were sick in most songs but concepts, beats, content and stuff was the let down for me

Ha, Bar you crazy, Comedy Tragedy History and You Put a Spell on Me are two of the best tracks I've ever heard. It's not just about the lyrics, beat, chorus etc but the overall impact of the music, and musically those tracks are almost perfect in the atmosphere it creates, the emotion you feel as they build ... damn, been almost a month and I still can't stop playing the album.
