What do you guys think of Lil' Wayne?

He's a little iffy, and my iPod says, "Hell naw" to him. I was watching MTV and Sway and other judges were claiming him as the number one MC out of nine others. That's why I brought up this post. I don't think he's that worthy, but I also have the mentality that I'm hatin' on him, but I just simply don't like his type of music. I mean, he has his rhymes, but he gets too cocky about them (and they ain't even that good).

What do you think?

i gotta admit i don't listen to him, but the featurings, and the songs that i have heard of his, he's pretty good...i wouldn't rate him the best, but hes doin his thing and its workin....number one MC.....KING MATHERS

i like lil wayne and im happy theres rappers like that out their cuz if i wanna listen to some interesting type shit i listen to lil wayne he says some hott things no doubt and i kno my music i kno hes not no lyricist but he's actually on top of his shit only thing i dont like is he charges $75,000 for a guest appearence. and hes actually one of my top rappers my order goes:

Lil Wayne used to be great. Pretty much the whole time Gillie da Kid was helping him write. Now he's fucking garbage. He gets like 3 hot songs off every mixtape and thats just sad.

Cassidy is one of my favorite rappers, not because of what he raps about but he has one of the best styles in the game.
