What's Eminem groupie's got to do with this, stay on topic. For me Dre has made some of the best beats in history, with N.W.A, solo on The Chronic, on Doggystyle and on 2001. I was bangin those beats before you even heard of hip-hop, but you're talkin shit about Eminem groupies once again and resorting to bullshit to make a point. Dre is a lazy fuck, and a perfectionist, he's not releasing jack shit until he's happy with it. Which is the opposite of a person just doin it for the cash, like some have being saying.He wants to release legendary albums everytime, that may be impossible, but he's gonna try anyway.

Notice how I said the above without saying anythign negative about other artists.

Firstly, i stated my personal opinion, u were the one trying to provoke me by trying make my argument look like "hate". With that whole "ur trying to make others look good" thing, ofcourse i try to make others look good, coz they make good music, and it seems that people like me are the few that actually stand up for it and say something, the rest just go along with anything the media says. I don't "hate" dre in anyway, but i am certainly not gonna put him on a pedistal, because 1) im tired of his bullshit, 2) im tried of Shady/aftermath's bullshit, 3) im personally pissed by how shitty the tastes of the planets degenerate population is, that everyone flocks around certain individuals playing along with everything they say.

Making shit out of Dre will only cause people (That are big fans of Dre) to check out the artist and go, what the fuck's he talkin about, he's got nothing on Dre. They may even do it out of spite because you dissed their favourite producer. Now that doesn't exactly help Madli or others exactly does it. Just be positive about them and encourage others to listen like you always do, except minus the hate on others in the process.

The artists i mention do their best not to sell out and have been doing quality music a long, time, it has spoken for itself. Some just don't listen.

Giving shitty producers a big name destroys music. I give my opinion on it. And I don't really care if someone gets "discouraged" listening to someone, its not my loss, its theres. Just coz some rapper or producer is better than the other, dont mean you gotta take sides.

And if i was so good discouraging people to listen to music, i wouldnt be working in a music shop every summer where i pushed good numbers.

I`m not discouraging them to check them out, I advise everybody to be open minded, and agree that some of the producers you've named are the real artists of the Production side of hip-hop, but are they people who don't sell out, or people that don't sell, that is the question. Obviously a bit of both because by not selling out to mainstream aspects like club bangers and crap like that, they don't garner the audience that their material deserves, but if they did maybe their material would not be so valuable anymore. That's the double edged sword: fame, success and wealth, or, dignity self-respect and critical acclaim. That's where artists need to find the balance, to be able to reach wider audiences, but not compromise on their artistic integrity. It's not easy, and not many can do it, but it's the key to success. I wish the brilliant underground emcees and producers could come to the forefront, and smash all this fony fuckin bullshit that dominates the charts and airwaves. Someday it'll happen, fuckin hope so anyway.

U have to realize that people who really do music for the music, not the fame aim only to earn enough to live decent and rap, being sighned to indie record labels. There is no golden middle here, maybe if only for a period of time, but once a rapper gets rich i mean too rich, he sells out, all have, all men on this planet will will the right amount of money.

If everybody is gonna be talking about how "artists need to balance somwhere in between seeling and rapping", it wont, happen.

Actually after taking another look at the list, I think ur right. But i think scott storch and timbaland do belong to the top 50 (altho they wouldnt be among the top 30 imo). One of the problems i see with Scott Storch's beats is that they are repetitive, otherwise i find them cool.

all hip hop beats are turning to shit, i've been listening and comparing beats from like professionals to other "underground" producers and i'm like wtf?

i dunno if it's just my ear, but half the stuff like those big long synths are annoying and nothing is great about them, yet they get paid thousands and thousands for some shitty ass fucking beats...
