Jay-Z's Rocawear Links Up With Clothing Lines By Eminem And Young Jeezy

Jay-Z recentlly told MTV News that Rocawear now has co-ventures with Eminem's Shady clothing line and Young Jeezy's 8732 apparel.

"It's a thing for us," Jay said. "All of us, we had the same type of struggle to impart some of that wisdom. I may know a little bit more about clothing at this particular time than Jeezy, but he's flying lower than me, so he may know more about what's going on in the streets a little quicker than I. Not much quicker, but a little quicker."

Jay sold his Rocawear clothing line to the Iconix Brand Group Inc for $204 million in cash earlier this year. Jay still works closely with the brand and will establish a brand new management and licensing company for Iconix.

like how G-unit shoes are really RBK. They say g-unit all over them, but there made by RBK. there will probably be like a "Rappers R Us" label that makes shady ltd, rocawear, and jeezy. i would guess. It doesn't make any sense business wise to remove name brands. doing what i said you still have all 3 brands, but only 1 company. Jay-Z is pretty smart w/ business shit too so i'm sure that's what'll happen
