i heard probably 40 lil wayne songs, 39 of them were trash, the song Shorty bounce was entertaining enough, but overall Lil Wayne is garbage Imo, i know he got alot of fans though, girls at my college love the dude.

Weezy's gettin beat up here. I think he's the best one out right now. His rhymes are hilarious and extremely clever if you listen to them. I'll admit some of his shit is just stupid but the majority of it is nice as hell. He remixes all the songs with sick beats but shitty lyrics and makes them a lot better. You gotta listen to his mixtapes though thats where the good shit is.

you cant say weezy isn't CREATIVE cuz he takes a style of rap (i guess what we consider southern rap) and actually puts words that make you think a little bit to nice beats. just his wordplays and similes make the songs fun to listen to (although some just still suck). i definately wouldnt call him a great lyricist but he can use words and little phrases amazingly. that and he has a nice flow. compared to anything coming out today that i really listen to (which isnt much anymore) i would say he is one of the best i've heard including slim and t.i. .
