Man Killed at Mac Dre memorial

A 21 year-old man was shot to death during a memorial for fallen rapper Mac Dre on Tuesday night (November 1).

Authorities have identified the victim as Michael Clint Banks. Banks was part of a group of about 150 who came to commemorate Dre near San Francisco's Mark and Janice streets.

Dre, born Andre Hicks, 34, was killed in a drive-by shooting on Kansas City's U.S. 71 Highway on November 1, 2004. The rapper was in town for a series of concerts and promotional appearances.

Police got a call at 8:35 p.m. reporting several gunshots in the area. Officers arrived on the scene to find people running in all directions and Banks lying on the ground hurt from a gunshot wound. He was later taken to Kaiser Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities currently have no suspects in the shooting.

yeah but about the gunshot wound shit....i thought mac dre was killed at a light, sorta like when 2pac go shot. cuz supposedly they opened up the door to the minivan and shot him

you know after Mac Dre got shot up in K.C. everybody in the Bay is warning people from K.C. to stay away if they dont wanna get killed
