They count on kids like you to sell their ringtones away and maybe a couple album copies here and there. They wouldnt base their hopes on hiphop fanbase or high class white folk. They aim for the middle-to-low class average american (who cant tell the difference between kitten n pussy) to sell.

Somebody should just hand Soulja Boy a random Roots song, and make him bump it on his stereo

You know what, I'm gonna defend soulja boy here. A bunch of you are saying he sucks, has no talent, etc. but the same people are sayin his shit is good to dance to, or is catchy, or gets stuck in your head. So why do you hate on him? I think songs are made for a bunch of reasons, not just to recount personal events or tell stories. Soulja Boy makes songs to dance to, and they're great for that.

When some good lyricists have tasted the money, they dumb down their lyrics to make more :o . But when dudes like this get money with dumb lyrics, I don't see him sittin' down and contemplating on a concept for decent meaningful lyrics anytime soon (even if his "career" could survive a few years). :smoking:
The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.
