yeah, ya know the players aren't excellent, but they're not as bad as they've been performing lately, it's obvious they've no confidence in themselves, and that's cos they know they've no confidence in the manager. Staunton has been picking the wrong players for ages now, and it's not been working out. He hasn't the experiance or the know-how to manage an international football team.

I think Roy Keane could be a good man for the job, but if he stays in the premiersohp with Sunderland he'll hardly leave them. He's only been managing a year, but has been studying the job for years, and has now got all the official qualifications, and learned heaps under Alex Ferguson. Plus, he was the type of player that present players will look up to, and work harder for (Staunton was too, but doesn't have the managing skills).
