Halo 3 Realeased today

I got the Xbox 360 Elite (outta topic I just wanted to say cause i'm gay < joke) Halo 3 is good but ppl get ova the top 4 it

lemme explain to you how to win

pick up one of the overpowered woepons

preferaly shotgun/mauler (the pistol form of shotty)

hit in a corner

and one someone comes y you shoot

if the shot doesnt kill him

press the melee utton and you got a kill.

not tyring to sound shady4life-ish but, you have a wii right ? buy red steel if you want a challenging game, wether its coz the controls suck or coz its actually hard i dunno but its fucking annoying as fuck and takes skill lmao

but i agree, dumbing down the game is the onyl way to make them sell a shitload, one reason im soley into playing RPG's with a few exeptions, RPG's will always be challenging lol

it may sound corny but halo does take skill its hard to explain but after u play online games u'd get it cause the people that have no lives and play 24/7 are impossible to beat.

indeed halo 3 does take some skill. but as it progesses from 1 to 3 it keeps getting lower and the games keep selling more. Its unfortunate that games have found this formula.

Ever since 1 i have been owning at halo. played online still owned it was fun, sniping was fun and the pisol was great. They had a timing system in halo 1 that every 1:30 or 3 minutes weopons and power-ups will spawn. this creates strategy because with all halo games, weopon control matters and if you have all the weopons (and can use them) and power-ups your pretty good for a few kills. In halo1 one everyone started wiht the pistol a three shot kill if used properly. Killing someone in 3 shots without autoaim while your strafing and while they are strafing is harder than it seems.

Halo 2 came out, introduction to auto-aim and combo.
4 shot with the br, still took some skill but with the auto-aim factor it was much easier.
again of course since h2 was h1 but easier, and less skill. People hid in corners with duels and the n00b combo and the shotty. shotty worked half the time and online the host mattered.

halo 3 finally comes, not much big change between 2 and 3. sitl can duel. they overpowered the needler, shotgun and mauler. they changed the br to 5 shots. the sniper shoots slower and is harder only because its messed up. the hit boxes seem bigger so its much eaiser to spray. H3 seems like a rock paper scissors game to me

close range
shotty/mauler/sword/hammer>needler>duels>AR>battle rifle
long range
sniper/battlr rifle/than whatever you get lucky with (AR,needlers, any of the spray guns)

nades have a greater impact in this game and just like h1 you can nade jump to high to reach places.

they took out the rocket lock-on which i thought was pretty cool. but added the missle launcher, turrets you can take off, and the flamethrower. they have their weaknesses too like moving slow.

all in all the skill factor in halo 3 ill give a 3. It obvously takes some skill cause their some people that's better than others. IMO It's mostly nade placement, hand eye coord, and reaction time. but in most cases its whoever shoots first or whoever has the shotgun.

I got it the other day and it's fun. I love Forge and Online but I'm not 2 keen on Campaign...
