I disagree with some of this but being an American civilian I believe it is bad, and good. Anywhere in the world there is going to be problems. Welcome to humanity?
The thing is, Without the British America would not turn out as it did cause Americans derived from British rule. But even after that, without American help British society might be slightly different then it is today.

In a way, there is no reason to argue over this really because each country has their strong points and weak ones.

People don't mention that America also has the most inelligent people on the planet, the most creative minds and the greatest athletes also.
