GBA,Greatest Handheld?

Postby Restlesswon » Nov 1st, '07, 20:48

Sappnin All.

I was just going through alil handheld gaming, psp,ds, all that shit, i don't know if im the only one who grew up around early 90s gaming, nes etc, but that gaming era gives me that great nostalgic feeling, NES was my first console when i was around 4,5,6 , And playing those type of old school games bring back good memory's.

I went through numerious psp games and ds games, grand theft auto on psp was crazy but I didnt get into it, borrowed my lil cuz GBA,Castlevania, after 10minutes,that concept of the 2D 8/16bit NES/SNES Platforming got me hooked.

The GBA IMO,is the ultimate for 2D gaming, 2D in its finest form i reken, these new handhelds like the DS and PSP and all that,I get no interest, and ill admit, for the past 6 or 7 years,i stopped playing games, maybe once a week or fortnight here and there, but damn,Castlevania on GBA,I Played this for 4 hours straight, first time.

^ NES Game,late 80s

Anyone else rather play GBA games compared to DS and PSP?, and on gba,ima look for more games like castlevania,i know theres 3 versions, ima hunt down similar games, and im not talking about bullshit games like Mario or Pokemon, i loved mario when i was 5, super mario bros 3 was my first game, but Ive grown out of the colorful world, I dont know how long Nintendo can keep on recycling the same games over and over.

Metroid on GBA looks great tho * starts looking *

In closing,i think i rather own a gba over the ds and psp anyday. Aha. Love that early 90s gaming.Whats also great these GBA games are like modern versions of the 90s era, keeps things fresh.
