do you think shady records would be better if it moved away from interscope ?

then (i beileive) the artists on it would have the freedom that artists such as Nas and Jay-z have.

Yeah I deff think em should be on his own. He now is allowed to sign people on his own and I know he doesn't like being told what to do. But maybe he just feels better with having help with interscope since Jimmy and Dre have more experciance with owning there own label. Cuz it's Jimmy,Dre and then Em but also maybe he doesn't want to betray them and then who will 50 go to? that's making 50 choose so maybe that's why he isn't doing it but I think he should! I hope he does.

you know the saying "nothing personel its just buisness" no matter how close of freinds you are that shit happens.

50 cent has stated and made a song about leaving aftermath and interscope, and then he wants to make G-unit records his own independant label were he controls everything that happens, he also sayed in interviews he wants eminem to join him and to do the same thing with shady records

he actually made a song about this "smile (im leaving)" and he takes shots at the way aftermath/interscope is run, and also says how eminem has made the buisness billions of dollers and gets no thanks in return by them

i get how you like to think of the strong family bond in a label, but it just isnt like that, no matter how much people you know may say it is, it isnt. there are hundreds of people that control these buisness above 50 cent, eminem , dre. think of it like, interscope controls it, and dre is the reprisentative for aftermath , eminem is the representive for shady records. thats the way ti works, the only label were you will find a big band of loyalty it a independant label were the artist run the label completely and every penny the make is what they need to use to keep the label alive.

50 would leave Interscope, unless he got a major rise (coz that's only what he thinks about). Failing that, he'll break off to turn G-Unit independent to rake in what his crew makes (although the rest of G-unit are on interscope so it may make things diificult if 50 were to leave)

Yeah cuz it was emotional..I never heard it but hearing about it it seems like it was an emotional song about real shit and not about women,the hood etc..which makes it more entertaining I think because it means something. Also I doubt 50 will leave anytime soon he has it good at Shady.
