How Should Shady Records be

Postby B.A.D. » Nov 26th, '07, 04:36

Eminem fucked up big time with all of this

but I think he should drop 50, D12 & Bobby Creek

bein:

-Eminem
-Obie Trice
-Stat Quo
-Cashis

D12 is always hating on him
50 Cent owes his life to eminem and he just moves by himself without helping or bein with other shady artists
Bobby Creek hasn't done shit and he sucks

thought are apreciated

ya u should prolly rethink what your saying. i personally think that the only one that should be dropped is cashis. his voice just isnt as authentic as it should be, being on shady records. bobby creek is the shit.. that bobby creek song (self-title) was so sick.. 50 rakes in the doe so thats a no brainer. and when has d12 ever hated on em? and yeah he promised hed sign 'em back in the daisies so he aint gonna drop 'em. stats cool.. he aint as lyrical as id like him to be, but nonetheless, his voice is still very authentic and powerful

bollocks to cashis / bobby creek / 50 / stat qou

all 3 of those fucking suck big time

creek has zero talent cashis has a little potential but nothin special 50 may make money but he a talentless piece of shit who raps on the same note and is very borin anyone cud do a better job than 50
and as for stat well he is someone with real talent but aint got no clue how to get a decent song finnished, the only track he ever done which was awesome was 'by my side' its a shame he cant do any of his other tracks to the same standard.

d12 are awesome they always have been and they have never hated on em they wouldnt do that anyways they like brothers, obie is cool not done that many sick tracks but cool never the less

you asked for our thoughts and views so heres mine and dont go hatin on me just cuz i went straight to the point lol

drop 50! now. he's bad for Shady (and for the rapgame + the world) at everyway.

in the other way they could finally put out some cd. Statlanta, next D12 album etc. Cashis' EP was good, but that's not too much for 2007.
There will be my signature. It'll be a hot one. You'll look at it and say - wow that's a gangsta signature.

i dont usually post but his is a good thread.

this is what Shady Records should look like imo:

Eminem
D12
Obie Trice
Royce da 59 (Em should have signed him instead of 50 no doubt)
King Gordy (The Entity was basically a Shady Records album)

DROP D12!?!?
they made a pact way back that the first guy to get signed would come back for the rest of em.
they're dudes for life, he cant just drop em, especially after Proof's death.
like said before, 50 is where the money's at, like it or not
finally, Bobby Creek's great, just gotta be patient for him to drop

phew :sweating:

Well I think none of the current shady artists should be dropped. I'll give my opinion about each after I hear some of their stuff. You cannot count on the stuff you heard on The Re-Up because it was supposed to be a mixtape. I want to hear the artists real stuff before judging them.

But based on what I have heard till now:

- D12 are really good. I like their music a lot, but I think it would have been better if Eminem signed them and Royce to Shady, instead of signing them and ignoring Royce. (Royce > D12)
- Obie Trice is dope, no doubt about that. The best rapper in Shady after Eminem.
- Stat Quo is good, nothing too crazy, but he's like Chamillionaire - not extremely lyrical, but entertaining.
- Cashis is not very bad. I personally don't like the guy too much but I think I'll give him a chance, as he is one of the few artists in Shady that is constantly releasing new shit. I'll listen to his album then judge, although I'm not expecting too much.
- Bobby Creekwater - I donno. Haven't heard from him so I can't judge till I hear some official songs.
- 50 Cent was not Eminem's mistake because 50's first album was very good (also Power of the Dollar was very very good). 50 afterwards ruined himself but Eminem can't drop 50, they are like best friends.

I just think Eminem signed too many people at once. I mean now everyone's albums will be pushed back all the time. :(

nothing against you but people who say this piss me off big time.

i remember cashis dropped 1 good song (cerenade my life or somehting like that) and everyone was saying he was great, they werent syaing they should wait for his real album they just said the song (yes a mixtape song) was amazing.

then he dropped 2 shitty mixtapes, and everyone said "oh wait for his EP then judge him coz thatll be super dope"

then the EP was nothing special at all and everyone said "it isnt his real album just a little EP wait for the real album then judge him"

really if no one see's the problem there then they are dumb. you judge the artist on the material you have from them, no matter if its mixtape or album , if the artist was decent he would keep it at a high standard on mixtape and then step it up to an amazing level for the album
