in moment of clarity jay-z says 'between him doing heroin and me doin crack sales'[referring to pac]..doesn't that mean he wasn't into blue magic??then what was the song,and his entire american gangster themed album about?
whose arm is this?..i must've cut it off at the pharmacist

that whole album was based around the movie american gangster. and blue magic was the code name for Frank lucas's drugs. U'd have to see the movie to understand it but pretty much that album is a soundtrack to the film.
