to all my friends, im going out again
and i hope i come right back to this FORUM from combat

after it i am sent to Iraq in about another 6 months next
but until then, Afghanistan's my mission that

Uncle Sam pushes my wits to the max
yeah i have went different steps than many men's tracks

yet my vision won't slack

as im packin up to head off into a dangerous trap
i stick to the plan well mapped my Major had graphed

i've been trained here at camp to hang on, im amped
