Scariest game you've ever played?

So which game has given you the freaks the most, has made you stop playing just cause you can't take it any longer or you've told somebody to stay in the room while you're playing?

Bioshock was pretty freaky but it wasn't scary in the way that I only jumped twice in the whole game, it's just the overall scenes are weird and bloody.

I think F.E.A.R. is scary, it's very silent and sometimes you don't expect the moment when the girl appears. I haven't played the expansions but they are meant to be scarier specially Extraction Point. I'll get F.E.A.R. Files soon cause it has both Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate.

They say Condemned is meant to be scary.

I've played the Jericho demo and it's not scary it just seems a bit like Bioshock (though Bioshock is way better), it's bloody and freaky.

F.E.A.R. is great but it has no replay value. I waited almost an entire year to play again, and it wasn't as great or fun. The multiplayer is still great and fast paced though.

Doom 3 is pretty fun with the freak-factor since you need the flashlight everywhere you go. It's also cool how you can't use the flashlight when you have a weapon equipped. I dunno about the replay value on that since I haven't beaten it yet (actually too scared to play through the whole thing, lol)

You're right about the replay value. Bioshock I finished the game 3 times in a row changing dificulty levels.

Silent Hill always freaked me out. It's been years since I've played it though, I need to play it again I love those types of games. I haven't played games in a long time until recently. I bought The Suffering II. It's not really scary, but they throw some freaky shit in there.

i agree with F.E.A.R makes me jump out of my chair and freaks me out...since the physics are so fuckin real....i always kick a can or somthin by accident and think that someone is behind me smh..and all these noises make you insane

There was a point where I had to look through the walkthrough to know when Alma would appear so I didn't freak out as much. My favorite Alma bit I think is on the elevator, I didn't really freak out but I really liked it.

Condemned I've been told is pretty good and scary, I think there'll be the second one out soon.
