Snoop Dogg will appear on the ABC soap opera One Life To Live for an extended cameo. The rapper is expected to perform "Sensual Seduction" and "Life of the Party," both singles from his new album Ego Trippin. The network also announced that Snoop will remix the show's theme song.
"My momma always had it on the tube in the crib growing up," Snoop says of the now 40-year-old soap opera. "The opportunity to change up the theme song and give it some of my flavor will make the show the life of the party."
Both parties hope to benefit from the episodes, which will air May 8 and May 9. "Sensual Seduction" is currently ranked at the number 12 spot on The Billboard Hot 100. The single peaked at number seven and has been on the chart for 15 weeks. According to Nielsen ratings, One Life To Live is currently ranked fourth out of the top five daytime programs among women between the ages of 18-49. The cameo adds to a growing list of featured musicians on the show that has recently showcased performances by Mary J. Blige, Erykah Badu and Timbaland.
