I don't know how I would describe it to a child, but I will elaborate for you:

Hitler believed that his actions were guided by a 'divine' providence. He was always sure that his actions were the result of 'fate' turned in his favour! He therefore needed no guidance in his quest to defeat the "Bolsheviks" because his success was 'assured!'
