Lost Odyssey

Postby Hadez » Apr 6th, '08, 23:28

bought this game yesterday. i'm only 2 hours into it but the story already has me sucked it.

for those who don't know what the game is about, it's basically about an immortal guy who's lost his memory during a battle. well, that's the juicy part of the plot. you still save the world n shit like most games. so as you go through the game you get pieces of his memory back.

the stories are amazing. most of them as far as i know are displayed in text, but so far none of them have made me want to skip through them (which you can do if you don't care about them).

anybody else play this game or plan on playin it?

i saw some reviews too before playin it. and the only thing they complained about was the old school gameplay and the loading times. the first of which i'm perfectly ok with, the second is not a huge concern of mine. don't you have a wii and PS3? why don't you just get 360 as well? then there will never be a game you can't play :smoking:

wow bar, why get wii, 360 and ps3 at one time, so when the next gen hti, they all be useless.

atm i have only xbox original, not even 360, i think i'm gonna skip on this gen cuz it i've played at friends houses and nothing has hooked me in... so i'm just gonna wait for next gen before i buy another gaming system.

what would be the point of buying any consoles for that matter? the point is to get it and enjoy it while you can. if you just wait around forever for new shit then you won't have anything.

considering next gen for PS3 is around 6-10 years away for 360 and wii i dont know probly the average 5 or 6 its pretty stupid to save up for somehtign i wouldnt be buying untill i was 25 or something, plus every old gen is useless when the new gen hits, i mean shouldnt i have gotten a PS2 ? then when ps3 came out should i keep that attitude and not get that coz itll be useless in 10 years ? having all 3 means i dont miss out on exlusives (like lost odysessy and the many more hundreds to come over the next decade) plus i dont play lots of types of games only certain ones (RPG's basically) so i dont have loads of games for each console at the same time lol

hey bar you mentioned how you like games with engaging stories right? well now that i'm further in this game i can safely say that the story/stories in this game are fantastic. not only that but the script is very well written, the voice acting is also great and adds alot to the emtional grasp the stories have. :y:

i really wanne play it now :(

*starts saving up*
