em and lupe fiasco

Postby Darkblade44431 » Apr 13th, '08, 14:28

does anyone agree with me that eminem's songs from infinite(he still has good flow, but not as good as it was) are kinda like lupe fiasco, except that lupe fiasco's lyrics suck and that he's all nice and shit. but the thing that i think compares them, the only thing, is that they both have really good flow in their songs. hmm?

your obviously not smart enough to understand how complex lupe is in most of his tracks just listen to "dumb it down" most complex rap song to be released on a mainstream level i have every heard and gives the complex underground artists a run for there money aswell.

not only does lupe has sick lyrics and amazing concepts he also has multiple meanings in each track due to his use of metaphors, he can also do story telling to challenge the best story tellers in the game, he always has nice rhymes, his flow is something that people question i like it and think he has an expandable flow and he also can jump on just about any beat.

as a guy he is very intelegent and a great influence in hip hop music, he also doesnt knock Uk guys just coz they from the Uk (he has a track with sway)

oh and on the infnite thing, eminem on infinite sounds like nas, lupe's main influence is nas, so if lupe sounds like eminem sounding like nas...then yeh you have somehting there..i think

lupe's the shit and he's nothing like eminem which is great, means more variety in the music.

his lyrics aren't straight forward complex like eminems are but they are complex...

hip hop saved my life is also a great story telling track, show me a song in infinite that was story telling? yea, none exactly..

...almost none of his songs suck...but yeah you can find one or two that are a little bit less then his other work....

:8) I like Eminem ofcourse, but Lupe Fiasco is sick ( ina healthy way..) his lyrics are realy impresive.. people who disagree just don't understand his lyrics... plus he has a awesome flow, each time he changes it match the beat perfectly... just listing to ''switch'', he realy ripped the ''still tippin'' beat.. ..

exactly....''Dumb it down'' is a hell of complex lyrical track, and it's on a ''mainstream'' album..( wich got gold btw..).. plus his storytelling skills are amazing....and when you listen to tracks like ''failure'' and '' twilight zone''..those two tracks are one of the best complex lrycial tracks I have ever heard, in ''failure'' he uses word-play, methaphore...etc etc etc, he uses all...he is like a walking dictionoray full of grammer and such shit.... every line in ''failure'' comes back on the next one, with the word-play and the meaning....... realy ,people who don't like him are usualy just not fond on complex lyrical geniuosity or they miss all of this lines in his tracks...plus the concept he has in his albums, the cool, the game and the streets...man that's a genious way of telling a story.....and his flow.....he can rip every beat just like ''bar'' said...

I guess that's enough said....Lupe Fiasco is a genious, so is Eminem....but people who say Lupe Fiasco is lyricalwise not good... those people need to start to visit the otologist...

I aint no groupie....

yeah..exactly people judge him by the fact that he is actualy succesfull, so they don't want to believe that his lyrics are that good as people say..

Yeah it would be a great lose if he would quit......

Like Hadez said and I quote "interesting how nobody asks questions like this about other artists....."

If anyone writes up shit like that about Eminem, he gets called a groupie, so we gotta do the same for you about lupe.
