Good Mics

Well, my microphone is alright, but I was wondering if there was any mic I could get that I could put my mouth close to without hearing that blowing noise...Or maybe theres something I could do to the mic I already have to eliminate or at least soften that noise a little. Does anybody know?

Umm would you guys say a desk mic stand like this one - http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MicStdDesk/ - is a good idea? Because it's generally cheaper than the other things on that site, and I don't really need anything too big. Also, would I need a shorter pop filter if I get the desk mic stand? Or is it adjustable?

in my situation mic isnt very important cuz my mic is wack as hell its all about ur voice abilities and sound card

It just dawned on me how much of a piece of shit that thing is. I don't think a pop filter will be of any use with that thing...goddammit I hate being poor D:
Holy fuck I just looked up how much it costs and it's the cheapest mic I've ever seen. I didn't buy it; we already had it from a while ago, and I didnt have enough money to buy a new one. Not being old enough to get a job sucks...Life is full of shit.

yep your dad is right. save up cash and buy a decent mic and buy a pop filter and ur all set and if you want that extra quality, than get yourself a mixer and u'll be really SET!!
