no. becuase this year sometimes a fully working DS will be operational, right now you can run 90% of games and can properly save around 70% of them, once save states work (were the emulator saves the game not the game) every game will be able to be saved and very shortly (if not already i havent been up to date on emulators in a while) all games will run smoothly with no problems.

so you can wait and emulate them or you can buy a second hand ds for £50-£60 and a flash card the roms work perfect on it the same way they work when you do it with gba's.

i have a ds and its great and all but once ever 6 months i get a game i truly want to buy the rest i emulate, not including the start of this year coz square enix released 3 awesome games back to back and have more coming out soon lol

lol the psp looks better, feels better, has better games, graphics better, you can watch movies on it. wat can u do with ds? play pokemon and the other 2 year old games? :laughing:

dragon quest monsters joker
final fantasy crystal chronicles ring of fate

to a lesser extent you also have chocobo tales, it looks really childish but once you look beyond that it is actually a pretty solid rpg, but not for everyones taste.

also the world end with you is coming out pretty soon and its shaping up to be a excellent game, i aint to sure about release dates so it may already be out were you live.

all psp gets is ps1 and ps2 ports and spin off games, like the yu-gi-oh version of metal gear solid. its had about 20 original games made for it and they all suck, i have a psp and a ds and the ds gaming wise is alot better, the only game that will be amazing on psp is final fantasy crisis core.

Crisis Core is the only amazing game? What about Syphon Filter, God of War Chains of Olympus, Metal Gear Solid, and the two GTAs. Sure they are ports/spinoffs, but they are great games nonetheless.

Xray, the movies you get for PSP suck ass as well. except 8 Mile and Spiderman. and how does the PSP feel better? it feels flimsy as hell to me. like i'm gonna break a button off if i get too into it.

but they are ports and spin off's not original games, most of them are watered down versions of the main game, they dont even re-make the ports they just water them down or upgrade the graphics a little bit, if a game is great on console and then the clone it to the PSP and its a not as great is stupid coz you can just get the better full expeirence on the console.

totally agree, i recently tried the slim line psp and its worse than the chunky one its so thin you feel like your not holding it correctly.
