a bar is not 2 fuckin lines

it's based on the structure of the drums, most drums are based like this (kick on the 1/4 and 3/4, and snare on 2/4 and 4/4) and bar is the end of that structure.... most of the times it's off of 2 snares, so after a 4 beats.


^ that's how i've been taught it, and it's what most people say is the right way.
