in a sense yeh, its chapters and stuff but there is alot of rpg elements and even sim element, you have to feed the dragons correctly to help them grow stronger along with leveling them up along with leveling up your human characters, also the dragons evolve, and you also have to equipt armor ect.

the twist in this game is, in a game like final fantasy tactics the attacks are shown on screen, in bahamut lagoon long range attacks are shown on screen like in FF tactics, but when you get you party leader (on the battle map you only move party leaders and dragons) and go for close combat, it switches into a final fantasy turn based battle, so you have both types of battle systems goin on with long range "chess" like battling were positioning is key, but also the RPG turn based battling were choice of attack/armour ect. are all the major keys lol

the story isnt to shaby either, imo the mixture of genre's in it makes it awesome

forgot about them lol if i remeber correctly, if you havent played the first you should itll be really intresting, the second is a prequal to the first, so if you know the story of lufia 2 (that is set before lufia 1) then the first lufia will be really kool seing all the references and stuff, sorta strange why they structured it this way

although i may be getting it mixed up with another game, but i dont think i am lol been so long since i played them

yeh i would consider it action/adventure but alot of people think its more of a action/rpg i dunno why coz there is no statistic based gameplay anywere, maybe coz of the shops and side quests ect. so there's a little rpg but not alot.

id like to see a rpg zelda although were link isnt mute and there is more playable characters and more character interaction, would be a great game.
