Queens Get The Money: Beat has potential but it's probably sampled so i'm putting it off as good so far, Where the FUCK are the drums! BTW I SEE A SUBLIMNAL AT 50 Cent!!! and nice homage to rakim right there! "my assignment he said retirement hiding behind 8 mile and the chronic" I'm kinda pissed there's no drums.. it feels really empty real empty

You Can't Stop Us Now: melodies cool, drums are old school, not feelin nas' flow.. this beat gets annoying fast..6/10

Breathe: dope track, i like the beat, i like the flow, i like the lyrics, i like the rythm... real nice song! 8/10

Make The World Go Around: I like beat, nice sample, i never thought i'd say this but chris brown was tight.. and The Game Killed Nas!!!! Great Track, I think this will be a single and it should be cuz it'll be hot! 9/10

Hero: Cool Track, period. 7/10

America: I love it, beat is awesome, nas is awesome, political but yet great! Hook was great, one of my fav songs so far 8/10

Like tash said the beat is kinda empty but i dont miss the drums, well kinda but nas makes up for that imo. 7.5/10

Breathe
Pretty dope track, i like the beat but cant see me listening to this for long. 6/10

Make the world go round
Nas is average to me, the game was hot, chris brown did good. 8/10

Love this one, nice beat from palow da don, love nas's flow. 9/10

Great another conspiracy track, i was affraid it would be to much but the song is pretty good altho the concept tires me kinda, nas is great on this tho.. 7.5/10

Sly Fox
Didnt like this, the beat is to repetetive to me and its another one of those consparicys tracks.. hook sucks and i dont like the guitar. 5/10

Testify
By far my fav track on the album, nice laid back piano beat. Nas's laid back flow with agressive lyrics really did it for me, the mellow hook does the job for real. 10/10

N.I.G.G.E.R
Beat is nice, hook is nice, lyrics on point. 8/10

Concept is aight, its about black leaders and nas as one. beat is cool, not a special track imo but good enough. 6.7/10

Fried Chicken ft Busta
Beat is awesome but i think he should of used it for something diff than this track. Track is kinda funny, correct me if im wrong but i think hes talking bout chicken and woman in once. Or just bout the chicken, i dont know. A welcome change from all that political shit. 8/10

Project Roach
Nas puts himself in the position of a roach and how everyone hates em and they dont die and ofcourse the roaches are a big metaphor for black folks. Nicely done tho, but getting tired of the concept and whining already. 7/10

Black President
Awesome song.. YESS WE CANNN CHANGE THE WORLDD. Love the hook where 2pac is sampled, lyrics on point but i think we all heard this already. 8.8/10

Be A nigger Too
Nothing new, the song leaked long ago and the concept is overly done by nas already. But ofcourse if u dont think bout that its a good song, beat is nice same as the flow and lyrics. 9/10

Y'all My Niggas
Beat is aight, hook is okay. Nothing special id bump more than a couple times. 6.5/10

We're Not Alone
Mykel is awesome on this, he made the song imo. Flow is nice, lyrics are dope, altho its about consparicy shit and how bad america is and how hes getting discrimated in the start he gives a positive message too, to join forces from what i can say bout the chorus. so good song. 9/10

Nigga Hatred
Basicly why he made the song, the intro to the be a nigger too vid, guess ya'll heard this. Not rly a track, although he does spits some. 6.5/10

War is necsessary
Heard this on GTA4, i dont like it, i think the beats are annoying and the lyrics are nothing special to me. 5/10

Middle finger
Didnt really listen to this but i skipped through it, david banner sounds kinda good cus he sounds gangsta hehe i wont rate tho.



Overall its a dope album altho the concept behind it gets boring real fast and repetitive, he overdid that. But if u would hear all the tracks seperatly without the hype around it and shit, like without counting all the other tracks with kinda the same concept (they are all diff but they all come down to the same thing) all the songs are pretty dope, except for some.

I think nas did his job, i aint dissapointed.

Queens Get The Money - aww the beat gave me this funny warm feeling^^ i like it, plus i'm wondering about the 50 porch monkeys, if this is a Fiddy diss, hands down for Nas then, i wish there was a Nas/50 beef, he'd kill him. 8/10

You Can't Stop Us - beat is doooope! but his flow doesn't match, it's too agressive. shame, because the track is awesome. i really like it. and the chorus is perfect too. 8.9/10

Breathe - everything matches, flow, beat, lyrics are ok too. 8.5/10

Make The World Go Round - ok track. nothing outstanding, but i'm not complaining. i give it 7.5/10

Hero - it's not a bad track overal, the concept of him being a hero matches his Nastradamus image lol bit annoys me a bit, but still it's not that bad as i thought it was. still, i think Keri Hilson might've done a better job there, she messed up the chorus a bit, big shame. 7.5/10

America - ain't you happy i chose rap over a monster? yes, we are!! 7.8/10

Sly Fox - i'm really feelin the beat and how Nas flows on it. lyrics are not bad too, i liked some of the expressions like 'unplug from the Matrix doctrine' or 'they say i'm all about murder-murder and kill-kill, but what about Grindhouse and Kill Bill'. @ what Slimmy said: i don't like the whole conspiracy theory either, but what he said on this track is true. i mean, people watch the TV but don't really THINK while watching. see, i guess his point was to wake up and take a while to actually analyse what is said on the news. good track, 7.5/10

Testify - nice one. i like the piano beat. the whole track sounds more like a skit to me than an actual song, maybe because Nas simply talks. as for the content of the song, i don't like the idea of Nas against the world althought it perfectly matches with this stupid image he's been creating for himself lately - the only black man with millions dollars on his account who actually experienced slavery in 2008. 7/10

N.I.G.G.E.R. - my fave track so far. i love the smooth beat and Nas flow over it. what he said in this song, i guess is mostly true, for example about reverse racism. i don't wanna get involved into discussion about racism now, because the point of this thread is completely different and far from any racial issues, so i'll just give it 10/10 and say that the hook is D.O.P.E. [because it's 100% truth]

Louis Farrakhan - huh? i expected something deeper, for real. althought beat and flow are pretty cool and i enjoyed listening to the song, i feel abit disappointed. meh. 7/10

Fried Chicken - ROFL they literally killed me with this track. 10/10 for both, Nas and Busta. a masterpiece. it's like they showed a middle finger to all the haters. 'cause that's just what n**** do' blahahah, pure pwnage.

Project Roach - omg. i don't like it. the metaphor is basically a repeated concept of what it used to be back in time, and i personally find it just harsh. nicely done though lyrics and flow, me loves the beat, so Nas could of choose different issue. 6.8/10

Ya'll My Niggas - good track. i give it 7.9/10. i must admit that i love his flow, really. it's like he was having a talk with himself

We're Not Alone - i'm not feelin it and i don't like the Mykel guy. 5/10 i actually skipped like half of the song. lol

Black President - nice one. yes, i can give it 8.5/10

Be A N.igger Too - i love the beat and this agressive flow of Nas. oh, and a big up for shaking his third leg in the toilet. 8/10

N.igger Hatred - good, very good. i take it as a skit and give it.. uhmm.. 6.5/10

War Is Necessary - beats annoy me, and war doesn't bring peace. 5.9/10

Middle Finger - uh oh, some gangsta shit lol not bad, Banner sounds somehow funny to me, but like i said, not bad. 7/10

so in fact: 7.6/10

and i actually think it's fair enough, because if you look at the albums as a one thing, this constant presence of racial issue and whining about how hard it is gets on my nerves. before i bumped this album, i'd thought i'll give it a chance and forget about all i had said before. and so i did, i bumped each track and wrote what i think. i feel it's a good album, it's not another Stillmatic, but i can't say i'm disappointed. i think Nas did his job, he bitched alot, he used the 'Gucci' word and 'sagging my pants' phrase, so i guess it's still our good ol' Esco.
