this is where your wrong.. the president picks his staff, and his staff are his advisers and their the one who tell him what to do, i think ur mixing that up with congress... so obviously when bush picked his staff, he picked like minded people.... our government system works really well if we have just have a president with just an average IQ.. but when you have an idiot who ignores everything that's when our government gets fucked.

no the congress needs like 2/3rds of votes to overpower bush, and i'm talking about vetos here atm... so only 1/3 of congress has to agree with bush... so there's a WAY bigger chance of bush getting what he wants rather than not..

lemme give you kids a quick history lesson..

the way our government works is based on the Constitution (or atleast how it is suppose to work.) within the Constitution it gives about 98%-100% of the power to Congress(aka the people). Throughout the many years, Presidents abuse there power (especially during war times) and have taken advantage of our weak Congress, and Congress has done nothing/little about it. The past 60 or so years Congress has been absolutely horrible/terrible/shit/the worst ever, and Bush is taken advantage of the war/the weak congress and abusing his powers. So, in retrospect, we can blame bush all we want, but we the people control congress and congress controls the president(or atleast is suppose too), argo, we are to blame just as much as Bush is. but i dislike Bush also so lets put more blame on him.
