Think it would be worth it? I don't need great quality but as long as it sounds good enough to hear or atleast better than my cellphone.

It's only $20, free shipping so it's not too bad.

Yeah, I'd go pretty fancy mic wise if I could and I do have the cash for it.

The main reason I'd be contained to this is I'm using my dads card to order it. If I asked him to let me buy a $60 microphone he'd say it was a waist of money.

eh..

Still thinking of getting this one to fool around with + for voice chat in games then getting a better one after I get my car and I can go anywere.

yooooo i guess it depends on what youre using it for. I actually have this same mic and its garbage..i used it for recording music though..if your just using it for chat it should be fine...but i hated it, i had to buy a new one. too much static and other sounds and hissing (which i couldnt remove)

actually not bad if you have proper interfaces , specs arent bad at all for home recording, could be a fill in until you get a phantom condenser set up
