i was reading up on the mic but i couldnt find out, or i could and dont know the connection off the top of my head so i didnt notice it, but is it XLR to usb or just a USB to USB ?

from what i read it always says "Straight to usb" and not "XLR to usb" so thats got me thinking its just usb to usb (with one of the usb connectors being more square to go into the mic ? ) although i didnt think it wwould be that coz ive never seen a mics like that (only mixers) and ive worked with alot lol but if thats the connection i had no luck, and id suggest phoning the support line with samson.

thats one site i found, they probly are cheaper/better somewere else but atleast the site will give you the key words to look for, and its most defiantly not a samson made connection, but 99% of connection are the exact same and they only account for around 3 % of the recording quality so a lower brand connection wouldnt affect anything that would be noticeable. if that is the right connection, all id say would be to buy it from a better known website just on the off chance it doesnt work or there a slight different in the connection, so you aint got hassle getting money or refunds from un-known wesites lol but i doubt there would be.
