i mean yes in the sense of being called the best rappers alive yes, but at least jayz is capable of being the best rapper alive

I think you have a point, I don't think kanye should be ever mentioned as best alive, I think he is very talented, but my thought on this is that people talk about him the way they do, and build him up so much, is that he always talks in interviews and in his songs that he is basically the greatest thing ever, so I think a lot of his aura has to do with that.

Tupac has been mentioned as over rated in several threads. but considering what he's done in and out of music i think he deserves the praise he gets.

Agreed. For me everyone of Tupac's songs I've listened to was 100% worth the listen.

And to point out the obvious Lil Wayne and Soulja Boy are miles overrated!
