As for the Internet thing, i was talking about it on another forum and it couldn't happen. Too many people are used to the service we have now; if ISPs were to put this into action nobody would pay for it and they'd protest. Causing the ISPs to realise they're losing out incredibly and to go back to the winning system.

For a gay example, when you first read one of those daeth threat chain messages and worry your ass off about it then it never happens, well i think possiblly this could be like that so dont worry. Information - homework, research ect.
porn - lets not lie we all know it one of the main uses
downloading - probably the biggest reason, and 80% of it illegal
talking - probably second biggest, by this i mean forums chatrooms ect. ect.
online gaming - self explanitory

if these "pakages" came about automatically your knocking away the majority of forum life and ALL illegal downloading, and also extrmely limiting porn, and online gaming would become to expensive youd just go round your freinds house to play, information is still right up there though

your also killing advertisment, with a set amount of sites the advertsiing on them would be huge and it would kill all the form of smaller advertisments and sites you get, sites like thisizgame would die, soundclick would die ect.

people pay for Cable tv because its seen as "extra" channels you still got your orginal 1-5 chanels for free (talking UK here ppl) they wouldnt pay for a service that just got shit loads worse, it would fail and not make enough money flat out, i wouldnt pay for it coz i dont use those major sites, i use low key sites like TR and so do millions of people, the biggest site i visit is IGN and i sure as hell wouldnt pay for it.




also to actually have something fact and not opinion to show why this wouldnt work, you pay for a package that has google so you can search for stuff...but uh...you only got like 200 websites, all categorised like your TV channels are so what the fuck is the use in google ? or yahoo..or ask jeeves.

by doin this is makes to many sites unneccesary, especially search engines and they are the biggest sites.
