Nas Respects Soulja Boy......

Postby Darkblade44431 » Aug 20th, '08, 21:06

um....i'm really sorry i don't have a source for this, i just saw it in a magazine at wal-mart, it was from some Nas interview, i think it was XXL hip hop or somethin like that..and other people prob. already heard of this..but i never hear of anything, so i guess i'll still post it...Anyways....
it talked about Ice T comparing Nas to Soulja Boy and Nas said he took it as a compliment and he respects soulja boy for doing his own thing and said that he is definately not ruining hip hop. eh...it just surprised me to read it, so i figured i'd post it here when i could.

you can hate him now.

i'd have to get to read the article first, BUT if it's true..

..i think what he did, Soulja Boy, this whole recording a shit song and making it such a big hit is worth a bit of respect, since he's still a kid, which in fact made up his whole life with one shit song. he ain't gotta work anymore now, he can sit and scratch his balls for the rest of his crank-dat existance. and yeah, i can say i respect him for making it on his own.

but NAS saying that Soulja Boy ain't ruining hip hop, NAS who moaned so long about dead hip hop is just.. rofl it's just funny and basically makes Nas..

..a fag.

No, Nas said that the "Hip Hop Is Dead" album wasn't what people thought it was. He said that it was just a time of writers' blocks.

I heard that some time ago already, weird stuff.
and I also read somewhere that Pacewon diggs Soulja Boy too!!
I wonder what the fuck is up. I also know that method man and Kanye west said they didn't agree with Ice-T, so just a question: who did agree with Ice-T?

okay whatever, just saying he worked for it. You see all those kids on sweet 16 and shit THOSE should be hated, not souljaboy. If i had the change to release a shit album to get alot of money i would. Im pretty sure he is, he got a shoe line, album sold more then a mil, merchandising, record deal, sold shitloads of ringtones.

Im not crazy, just cant hate on someone who gets his 15 minutes of fame, im pretty sure alot of ppl who hate him want to be in his shoes.
