Raw-est MC?

Postby BaZZ » Sep 2nd, '08, 12:51

i say biggie, some of his lines:

"...little kids, fuck em in the ass, throw em over the bridge"

"N*ggas is ass out like fat bitches in bikinis"

"Biggie smalls is the wickedest,
N*ggas say I'm pussy, I dare you to stick ya dick in this
If i was pussy id be filled wit siphamus, herpees, guanderia, clemedia
Gettin rid of ya, got it locked like the penitentiary"

"Mad cause I got my dick sucked
and my balls licked, forfeit, the game is mine
I'ma spell my name one more time, check it
Its the, N-O, T-O, R-I, O
U-S, you just, lay down, slow"

"Oh my god, I’m droppin shit like a pigeon" <= I love this one lol

"I drop unexpectedly like birdshit"

"Jacked her then I asked her who's the man
She said B-I-G then I bust in her E-Y-E"

"Please make yo killins clean
slugs up in between
they eyes like true lies
kill em and flee the scene"

"They hear u was blowin up like nitro
now they wanna stick they knife through your windpipe slow"

I dont think anyone can write lyrics more raw than these :y:
"Hard hearted beast with a jaw full of meat
Engulfed in a feast while you starve at his feet
He toss you the least little portion of a piece
To the floor and expect you to rejoice when you eat" - Brother Ali

wow thats a fuckin dope line

that's all one line huh?

raw to me is not in the lines, it's in the delivery and the voice, the flow, etc...

a hard flow (not as in difficulty), strong voice, and delivers with the proper emotion and emphasizing the right words. about the emotion, Phil Collins can sing with emotion, he's not raw though. his songs don't say "THIS is what i'm saying" "THIS is how i feel" etc.. he's more softer.

so my examples would be:
Tupac - "If I Die Tonight"
Eminem - "Amityville"
Brother Ali - "Uncle Sam Goddamn"
Talib Kweli - "Waitin For The DJ"

agree, raw is more to do with vocals than lyrics, imo.

i'd also include one mic in that list.. as well as any new royce song.

Biggie dope but I've never been able to listen to him. Not sure if it's his voice or what but I just can't enjoy him.
