anywae, ill be doin a solo project for college, i must do something that shows i can use all the skills i have learned and am learning thats, recording, mixing, producing, promoting, sound proofing, understanding acoustic sound ect. the lecturer recommended everyone do an album, it didnt need to be of themselves they could executive produce and album for someone else but i choose to do this myself.
so imma be putting an album together, i use the name album coz its not a mixtape or a EP, i Have around 9 months to get this done, i will be doin ALOT of tracks and puting the one's on that make the cut, ill also be fully mixing and mastering this myself, ill be printing this and giving everyone in the class a copy, im only goni print about 30 coz i aint wasting no money but still, in every way i can think this is an actual album project not just a mixtape or a online "album" lol
with the lectueres in the college's connections in the music buisness, and just in general the people in the college (alot of lecturers run indie labels and stuff) everyone in the class thinks this is there chance to start making moves, i dont think that but every bit of exposure helps right ?

i wanne get a collab down with every artist on the site, not all on the one track obv., but indivudual Me Ft You, for every artist up for it. not all will be on the album infact alot wont be, im sticking to 12 tracks minimum, 16 tracks maximum, so only a couple will make the cut, unless ofcourse all of them are fucknig fire then itll be a Bar and freinds album
, none the less i still wanne do this, itll get me doin alot of tracks and help me to my 35-40 tracks i want to have to choose from.ive been working on my flow alot and also my writing, i feel as if im nowere near were i think i can reach and i want to try get closer to that on this project so in all senses i am goin to be stepping up as much as i can and if your down to collab i hope you do the same on your parts of the track to make them as good as we can
recording wise i wont be doing any untill after xmas when i get my new set up and start recording with near studio quality and have pro tools running completely and also a good understanding of the program, if you wanne collab and we sort it out and you send me a verse then have heard nothing for a month dont start tripping, ive made an organized system and plan on how imma do this witch means i am always writing and looking for beats but will be recording and mixing in bulk. it makes everything alot smoother and acheivable.
The other request is beats, again if you send me a beat and i havent done nothing on it, it doesnt mean im ignoring it, ive most likely written a full track and am just waiting till i get to the recording time. i also sometimes get beats and am feeling them write a track to them then dont feel the beat no more or in general dont feel the track as a whole, if that happens dont take offence it just happens sometimes when you have an idea of how you want a concept/flow/track to sound and it just doesnt work right, thats just the way it is. if you have some beats i could use PM me, for the producers i worked closely with ill most likely get at ya on MSN. also note that if i havent worked closely with you before try send me the full beat (mixed and everything) for me to work with, if not it gets messy, also i may add addiotnal sound effects or production to the beat nothing major, shit like if i say "smash the glass" ill mix in a glass smashing sound effect, if you not happy with me adding stuff like that to your beat dont offer any, again with the guys i worked with alot, ill let you do the additional production yourselves
sorry if im coming across blunt, but i cant be assed messing around, so thats why im explaining with the beats, none of us are pro's but i dont want people sending me half mixed beats and taking offence when i say no to it, someone will be like "fuck you i offer you a beat for free and you say no !!!! diezzzz!" so the better i get it across the smoother it can all run, but do know i appreciate anything anyone does to help, even if you send me the worst beat ever i appreciate you taking the time to try and help and send me a beat and being kool enough to let me use it for free
other than that nothing, tell me if youe down for a collab ive already started the beat hunt so as soon as people start saying there down for the collabs the sooner ill start showcasing beats and concepts to them and the sooner we can start making classics
incase anyone is worrying about quality, it shouldnt matter if im at were i want to be at when i start to mix the tracks, but obviously if you have extremely bad quality dont offer to collab coz i need it to sound atleast semi-pro lol
